Known as Dolmades in Greece, these vine leaves are a typical addition to any delicious, traditional vegetarian dish. Each leaf is stuffed with a generous serving of seasoned rice; bursting with flavour from herbs, dill and mint. Brown Basmati has a rich, nutty flavour and cooks up easily into separate, fluffy grains that have a firm texture.

Literally translated as "queen of fragrance," Basmati has been grown in the Himalayan Foothills of India and Pakistan for thousands of years.

You can substitute Brown Basmati wherever a recipe calls for Brown Rice.

In this product, only the hull has been removed leaving natural bran layer intact. It takes longer to cook than white rice because the outer layer is harder, approx 40 minutes ( 1 part rice/2 parts water).
